Heatwave Half Marathon/5K/10K - Indianapolis
This event takes place on July 18, 2027 in Indianapolis, IN (zip 46204; street TBD). Multiple race options are offered, including in-person and virtual formats. Race registrations include a custom bib, designer shirt, and a finisher medal for most distances. Youth pricing is available for participants 12 and under for the 5K and 10K at $17.
Chip-timing with live results and awards is provided for the 5K, 10K, and Half Marathon. The 1 Mile and Kid's Dash are untimed. Free photos and race-day finish amenities are provided; the event summary notes free ice cream at the finish. Virtual participants receive a digital bib, event shirt, finisher medal, and packet shipping; mailed packets ship the Wednesday after the race and participants can upload times and photos on the event pages starting the day of the event.
Volunteer Then Run combines an initial volunteer shift with the option to run afterward; volunteers are asked to arrive 30 minutes before packet pickup. The Running Buddy Half Marathon requires prior application and approval. To guarantee a race shirt, register by midnight on Thursday two Thursdays before race day.
