Spooky Sprint - Grand Rapids
Spooky Sprint - Grand Rapids is a Halloween-themed running event held at Caledonia High School in Caledonia, Michigan. The event offers multiple in-person race distances, a virtual race option, and a volunteer-then-run category where volunteers may run afterward.
Race options include:
- Kids Dash - 50 m for ages 10 and under
- 1 Mile - untimed
- 5K - 3.1 miles
- 10K - 6.2 miles
- Half Marathon - 13.1 miles
- Virtual Race - run remotely
- Volunteer then Run - volunteer then run any distance
Several races include event apparel and medals. The half marathon, 10K, and 5K list a custom bib, designer shirt, and finisher medal. The 1 Mile is untimed and includes a custom bib, designer shirt, and medal. The Kids Dash includes a mini bib, youth-sized shirt, and a specifically crafted medal; children may run the Kids Dash on race day for free if they decline the swag. Chip timing, live results, and awards are provided, and free photos are available. Finish-line treats are listed as part of the event.
Registration opens October 18, 2025. Listed registration fees include $17 for the Kids Dash and Volunteer then Run, $22 for the 1 Mile, $32 for the 5K and 10K, and $58 for the half marathon; the virtual race fee is $42.
