Event Overview
This event includes two separate activities: a professionally timed 5K trail race and a Kid's Run, Roll & Stroll. The main event is a collaboration between Lori’s Voice and the City of Kentwood Parks and Recreation Department. Both events start at the Kentwood Community Center located at 4755 Walma Ave SE in Kentwood, Michigan.
The 5K route uses portions of Kentwood’s neighborhood streets and its trail system. Registration for the 5K costs $25, with the price increasing after July 30, 2026. The Kid's Run, Roll & Stroll is a separate activity with a registration fee of $10.
Charity Purpose
All proceeds from the event provide financial assistance to families of children under 21 who are living with neuromuscular and degenerative diseases. The funds help cover costs such as adaptive equipment, travel for medical care, therapies, and other essential needs not fully covered by insurance.
Participation Details
The event encourages participation from people of all ages and abilities, with options to walk, roll, or run. A race t-shirt is guaranteed for participants who register before Friday, September 18, 2026. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
