Signal Hill Rotary Mutt Run 5K
The Signal Hill Rotary Mutt Run is a community running event on the Long Beach shoreline that includes races for people with and without dogs and an adoption festival at the finish area. The course begins at the Granada Launch Ramp at Rosie's Dog Beach and follows the beach pedestrian path toward the pier. Paid parking is available at the 54th & Claremont lot and the La Verne lot at a rate of $2 per hour.

Registration is limited to 400 participants. The event distributes proceeds with 70% supporting Long Beach Animal Care Services for urgently needed supplies and 30% going to the Signal Hill Rotary community project fund. An adoption event by Long Beach Animal Care Services takes place at the finish line and during the post-race festival.
All dog breeds are welcome. Dogs must be leashed, stay on the pedestrian path, be well behaved and non-aggressive, and owners must clean up after them. All human participants receive t-shirts and custom medals, and translucent plaque trophies are awarded to the top three finishers.
