Boar's Head Turkey Trot 5K : 45th Annual
The event takes place on Thursday, November 26, 2026, at Boar's Head Resort, 200 Ednam Drive, Charlottesville, VA. Proceeds benefit UVA Health Children's. The road course starts and ends at the resort, winds through surrounding neighborhoods, and is described as very hilly.

- Tiny Turkeys 1/4 Mile Dash (500 Yards)
Registration details are provided online only. Registration windows and fees are:
- 5K registration opens August 4, 2026 and closes September 6, 2026; fee $40.00.
- Tiny Turkeys registration opens August 4, 2026 and closes November 25, 2026; no fee.
All 5K registrants receive a long sleeve unisex t-shirt. Packet pick-up schedule and locations:
- Tuesday, Nov. 17 at Three Notch’d Brewing Company, 5:00–7:00 p.m. (packet pickup night discount applies)
- Saturday, Nov. 21 at McArthur Squash Center, Boar's Head Sports Club, 9:00 a.m.–2:00 p.m.
- Tuesday, Nov. 24 at McArthur Squash Center, 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
- Wednesday, Nov. 25 at McArthur Squash Center, 8:00 a.m.–6:00 p.m.
Additional event notes: registration is online only; parking at the resort is available but limited; carpooling is encouraged. Strollers are allowed; pets are not allowed on the race course. There is no on-course hydration, but water is available at the finish. ID will be checked at the beverage tent. An awards presentation will recognize the top finisher for men and women in each age group. Tiny Turkeys is a free kids race for ages eight and under and gathers on the grass by the finish line.
