Tamarac Turkey Trot : Overview
The Tamarac Turkey Trot is held on Thanksgiving Day, Thursday, November 27, 2025, in Fremont, Michigan at 1401 W Main Street. The event marks its 15th anniversary in 2025 and is organized as a family event. The course is open; dogs and strollers are permitted. Children must be supervised by a responsible adult. Children who remain in a stroller for the entire race do not need to register, but any child who walks or runs on the course must be a registered participant.

All 5K, 10K and 1.5 mile participants are chip-timed. There is no race day registration for 2025. Registrants who register by October 15 are guaranteed a race shirt and size; the 2025 shirt is a unisex crewneck sweatshirt for the 15th anniversary. Kids 11 and under may register free for the Kids 5K and Kids 1.5 Mile (no shirt provided); a kids' shirt purchase option is available at registration. All finishers receive a finisher gift. Awards include overall and masters awards for the 10K and 5K, plus age-group awards (10K and 5K) and top three in each kids 5K age group.
