Tamarac Turkey Trot : Fremont, MI (November 26, 2026)
The Tamarac Turkey Trot is a community running event held in Fremont, Michigan at 1401 W Main Street on November 26, 2026. Multiple race formats are offered, including road races, fun walks, youth events, and a virtual option.

- 1.5 mile fun walk
- Kids 5K

All finishers receive a finisher gift. The 10K and 5K programs include overall and masters awards and age group awards. The 10K awards include first place in each age group; the 5K and Kids 5K include first, second, and third place in age groups. Age group ranges are specified separately for each distance, with categories for children, teens, adults, and older competitors.
New this year is a 12-week 5K to 10K training program tied to the 10K event. The program begins September 1 and involves weekly Tuesday morning group sessions held at Tamarac. Participants must be registered for the Tamarac Turkey Trot 10K prior to starting the training program.
