Blue Crab Turkey Trot 5k and 10k : Silver Spring
The event on November 26 is a timed 5k and 10k held at Wheaton Regional Park in Silver Spring, Maryland (2000 Shorefield Rd.). Distances offered:

- 10 km
The course is a mix of gravel, trail and paved paths with rolling hills. The 5k is an out-and-back once; the 10k follows the same out-and-back route twice. Water stations are placed along each course: two along the 5k and five along the 10k, with Gatorade available at some stations. The event is chip timed and provides a finisher medal and a technical Drifit event shirt; shirts are guaranteed for registrants before November 12 and are available on a first-come, first-served basis thereafter.
Live race results are published during the event and final results with series points are posted after the race. Points from this race count toward the year-long 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack series and toward the fall series. A virtual race option is offered for those unable to attend in person.
Packet pickup is available at the venue and race day registration is offered. The event supports a foundation that funds organizations focused on pet and animal welfare.
