2026 Blue Crab Turkey Trot 5k & 10k
This event is held on November 26, 2026 at Wheaton Regional Park in Silver Spring, Maryland. It offers two distance options and awards series points that count toward the Year-Long 5k, 10k and Back of the Pack Series as well as the Fall Series.

The course follows the Ravens Run to paved trail route and is approximately one third gravel, one third trail and one third paved. The route features rolling hills; the 5k is an out-and-back once and the 10k is an out-and-back twice. Water stations are placed along each course with five stations on the 10k and two on the 5k. Gatorade is available at some stations. Restrooms are located inside the park.
Participants receive a finisher medal, a technical drifit event shirt, and chip timing. T-shirts are guaranteed for runners registered before November 12; sizes cannot be guaranteed for race day registration. Entry fees are listed with early and late rates: 5k $30 until November 15 then $35, 10k $45 until November 15 then $50; prices increase on race morning. Packet pickup is available at the event and race day registration is offered. A virtual run option is available.
