Bloom & Zoom
Bloom & Zoom is a charity distance festival taking place on May 8, 2027, in Cary, North Carolina, at 201 Soccer Park Dr. The event benefits local nonprofits and is staged by Fit & Able at no charge to participating organizations.
In-person and virtual race options are offered across multiple distances:
- 8K
- 5K
- Fun Mile
Additional event components include a virtual race series for the same distances and an exhibitor area that reserves vendor booth space only; race registration is not included with exhibitor registration.
Parents registered in the 5K, 8K, or Fun Mile may push small children in strollers on course, but every person on the course must be registered and numbered. Children must be registered under their own name and birthdate rather than a parent’s.
Registered finishers in the 5K, 8K, and Fun Mile receive a finishers medal and a gift, guaranteed for registrations completed by April 25. The event offers over $4,000 in potential awards for overall and age group places, picking up the pace awards, and new course record awards. Setting a new course record also carries a $10 gift code prize.
