Bleu's Run for Rescue 5K
Bleu's K9 Rescue is hosting the fourth annual Run/Walk for Rescue 5K in Washingtonville, New York (ZIP 10992). The event takes place on June 6, 2027 at L. Vern Allen Park on Ahern Blvd.
The course is a 5K (3.1 miles) and the route will be guided by the local police department.
Participants may bring friendly, leashed dogs. All participating dogs must be rabies vaccinated. Retractable leashes are not permitted. Participants are asked to bring waste bags.
Pre-registration opens March 15, 2027 and closes June 5, 2027. Pre-registration fee is $40 and day-of registration fee is $45. The first 25 registrants receive a free race T-shirt; after that shirts are available for $5 while supplies last.
A food truck, Shaker Smoothie, will be on site selling smoothies and gluten-free pizza. All proceeds support Bleu's K9 Rescue and its work with local homeless dogs in the Hudson Valley. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
