Event overview
The Blades Trail Race is held on Sunday, March 15, 2026, in Pocomoke, Maryland. The event is a 10 Miler that takes place in the Hudson-Tarr Tract of Pocomoke State Forest along Blades Road, near the Pocomoke River. The course passes through forested terrain with laurel, pine trees, and moss. The final cutoff time for the 10 miler is 3 hours. There will be one aid station on course and the race is cupless, so participants must use their own cup, bottle, or hydration system. Some trail sections may cross small creeks.
Logistics and rules
Parking is limited on Blades Road and around the race location; carpooling is suggested. Packet pickup is available the day before at Dockside Bar & Grill, 2 Riverside Dr., Pocomoke, MD, and there is a race day pickup window at the venue. The course will be marked with spray painted arrows, logs or sticks, signs, low caution tape, and small green construction flags on the right side of the trail. Runners must keep bib numbers visible and stay on the established course.
The event policy disallows drop bags, bib transfers, bandits, pacers, dogs for runners, early or late starts, deferrals, and refunds. Distance transfers are permitted with advance notice; any price difference is nonrefundable. The race is planned to run in most weather; cancellation would occur only for force majeure making aid and support impossible. Results will be published on the event Facebook page and on Ultrasignup.
