Blackpool Summer Run

The Blackpool Summer Run is a road running event held along the Promenade in Blackpool with the start area by Blackpool Tower and the Comedy Carpet. The race offers seaside views on a course that is closed to traffic and uses chip timing for finish results.

The event is scheduled for 12 July 2026 and features two organised distances:

5 km

On-course music and entertainment are provided. Participants receive event photography and a commemorative medal. An optional technical T-shirt is available as an add-on at entry. Course support includes water stations, toilets, friendly staff and stewards, and full medical provision. The event holds an England Athletics licence.

Entries open on 12 May 2026 and close on 10 July 2026. Published entry fees are shown separately for UKA/ARC affiliated and non affiliated entrants, with different fees for the 10k and the 5k.
