Blacklight Run | DFW 2026
Blacklight Run | DFW 2026 is a nighttime running event at Texas Motor Speedway in Fort Worth, organized by Viral Run and scheduled for September 19, 2026. The event is presented as an up to three mile course, commonly described as a 5K format, and includes illuminated Blacklight Zones and an after party with UV lighting.
Participants are asked to wear a white shirt. During the course and at the after party, runners will be covered in UV glow powder and colored UV liquid glow. Race starts are released in waves every 2 to 5 minutes. A pre-race party begins 45 minutes before the race and DJs are to be announced.
Logistics include packet pickup that requires photo identification. There is a same-day packet pickup fee of $5 cash per registration. Pre-ordered merchandise must be claimed by the race start time or at packet pickup or it will be forfeited. Parking may have a fee up to $20 cash. There is no bag check. Race bibs must be worn on the front of the shirt to be allowed on the course. Water stations are available on the course and at the finish. Spectators may attend at no charge with viewing areas on both sides of the start and finish. Refunds are not offered but ticket transfers are permitted.
