Blacklight Run DFW
The Blacklight Run is a nighttime event held at the Texas Motor Speedway in the Dallas-Fort Worth area. This event combines a physical activity with a festive atmosphere, often described as a hybrid between a fun run and a rave. Participants can choose to dance, walk, run, or jog through the course.
The event features a 5 km distance where participants move under a canopy of fluorescent lights. During the run, Blacklight Cannons are used to shower participants with non-toxic UV Neon Glow powder. The course is designed to be accessible to various activity levels, as there are no specific time or pace requirements for completion.
The venue is equipped with state-of-the-art light shows and live entertainment. Music is provided by live DJs to maintain a high-energy environment throughout the evening. Following the completion of the course, an official after-party takes place. This post-run celebration includes additional live music and the Celebration Glow Flow ceremony.
The event is supported by various local and national sponsors, and food vendors are typically present on-site. Participants are encouraged to wear clothing that will capture the glow from the UV powder and neon lights. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
