Turkey TrOT in Denton
The third annual Turkey TrOT is a community fundraising run in Denton that supports the St. Catherine's Challenge for occupational therapy research. The event is presented by student and foundation partners and directs proceeds to research, evidence-based practice, and development of future therapists.
The course is an approximately 1.5-mile loop. Participants in the 5K complete the loop twice, while the fun run completes a single loop. Water stations and cheering sections will be available along the route. The event is untimed and organized as a fundraising fun run.

Registration opens October 20, 2026 and online registration closes November 10, 2026. Entry fees listed for the events are $25 for the 5K and $20 for the 1.5 mile fun run. Only early bird registrations are guaranteed a race T-shirt, and T-shirt pick-up begins on the day of the event. All registrations must be completed online before race day.
Additional on-site amenities include snacks, water, and sports drinks; bathrooms are available in Hubbard Hall near the start line. A local vendor fair will follow the run, featuring local businesses, health and wellness resources, sponsor booths with giveaways, refreshments, and activities.
