Turkey Trot USA 5K & Marshmallow Mile 2026
Turkey Trot USA 5K & Marshmallow Mile takes place in Historic Downtown Roanoke, Texas, at 500 South Oak Street on Thanksgiving Day, November 26, 2026. The event offers an in-person 5K through Historic Oak Street and a 1 mile fun run for kids and families, plus a virtual option that ships race items to participants.

Registration for in-person entries includes a long-sleeve tech shirt, a customized bib, a finisher medal with a Marshmallow Man charm, hot coffee and cocoa at the finish, and other event items described as signature trot treasures. Virtual registration includes the long-sleeve tech shirt, a customizable printable bib, the finisher medal with charm, and mailed packets; virtual registration closes November 19 and virtual packets are scheduled to be mailed November 20–23.
Discounts include $5 off for youth age 8 and under, $5 off for seniors age 65 and over, and $5 off each registration for groups of four or more when purchased together; the group discount does not apply to the fun run.
Packet pickup is available on Saturday, November 21 (11:00 AM–6:00 PM), Tuesday, November 24 (11:00 AM–6:00 PM), and Wednesday, November 25 (11:00 AM–4:00 PM) at listed pickup locations. Volunteer roles cover packet pickup, course monitoring and water stops, and finish line support; volunteers receive an official volunteer shirt, food and beverages, and may qualify for limited future race registration rewards.
