Black Diamond - Garland, TX
The Black Diamond event takes place on Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Audubon Park, 342 W. Oates Rd., Garland, TX 75043. The event includes in-person and virtual participation options organized by Run Different. This is the second edition of the Black Diamond Half-Marathon.

Chip timing is provided for all distances of 5K and longer. The 10K is run as two laps of the 5K course and the half-marathon as four laps. The event does not enforce strict cut-off times. Registration for in-person distances includes an event-themed participation shirt and a custom 5-inch finisher medal for the 1 Mile, 5K, 10K, and Half-Marathon. Age-group awards (four deep) are offered for the 5K, 10K, and Half-Marathon in male and female divisions from 0-4 through 80+. Awards are also listed for overall winners, Masters (40+), and Grand Masters (60+); awards are distributed at the event and will not be shipped.
The Kid's Dash is a short 100–200 meter sprint and is free to enter; t-shirts and medals are available as add-ons. The 1 Mile is an untimed option with no group awards. The virtual option includes shipment of shirt and medal the week of the race. Volunteers receive a code for a free race entry as a thank-you.
