About the race
The Mercy Run is scheduled for April 10, 2027 at the Josey Ranch Athletic Complex in Carrollton, TX, and is held on National Siblings Day. The event is presented as a community run and walk that recognizes the bond between siblings and commemorates children who have died.
The event benefits TeamMercy.org, a 501(c)(3) organization. Proceeds support siblings affected by the death of a brother or sister through age-appropriate Grief Packets and Mercy’s Gift. The event includes on-site and remote participation options and maintains a fundraising program with a stated goal of $5,000.
Course options include looped routes and a one-mile fun distance. Awards are given to the top male and top female finishers in each category and to the overall top male and female in each event. A finisher's prize is also listed. Packet pickup is available only at the race. Registration does not include a shirt; shirts are available for purchase for $15 and sizes are guaranteed for registrations completed by March 27, 2027.
