The Mercy Run 2026
The Mercy Run 2026 is a community running event held at the Josey Ranch Athletic Complex in Carrollton, Texas. Organized to benefit TeamMercy.org, a 501(c)3 non-profit organization, the event supports siblings who have experienced the death of a brother or sister. The race coincides with celebrations for National Sibling Day.
The event offers several distances and participation options:
- 10K Adult (Two loop course for ages 9 and over)
- 10K 8 & Under (Two loop course)
- 5K Adult (One loop course for ages 9 and over)
- 5K 8 & Under (One loop course)
- Fun Run Adult (One mile course for ages 9 and over)
- Fun Run 8 & Under (One mile course)
- Remote Runner (Virtual participation option)
The course at Josey Ranch Athletic Complex consists of an energizing loop that participants navigate once for the 5K or twice for the 10K. All participants are timed by Chip2Chip Race Timing. Following the races, there is a cupcake celebration for all finishers and an awards ceremony. Awards are presented to the top overall male and female finishers, as well as the top male and female finishers in various age categories ranging from 8 and under to 60+.
Registration does not include a shirt, which must be purchased separately. Participants who register by March 11, 2026, are guaranteed their selected shirt size. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
