BK5K Indianapolis, IN : 8th Annual
The BK5K in Indianapolis is scheduled for September 26, 2026, at Leonard Park, 5400 W 15th St., Speedway, IN. The event includes a 5K run/walk and a Kids Fun Run for ages 12 and younger.
The event is organized to support area youth. All proceeds go to various 501.c.3 youth organizations and programs that demonstrate financial need. Funding grants are evaluated and dispersed by the local BK5K Youth Fund Award Committee.
Registration has an early period that ends September 11 and online registration closes September 25. Race day registration is available on-site. Packet pickup and race day registration are available race morning. T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed after the early registration period.
Entry fees for the 5K vary by age and registration timing: adults (18 and older) and youth (17 and younger) have different early, late, and race day prices. The Kids Fun Run is free during online registration and has a small race day fee.
Prizes include cash awards for the top three male and female finishers : 1st $200, 2nd $100, 3rd $50 : with an option for winners to donate prize money back to local youth grants. Trophies are given to the top three overall finishers and medals to the top three in each age group. A post-race grab-and-go breakfast is provided, and awards are presented after the Kids Fun Run.
