The BK5K Indianapolis event is a community road race held at Leonard Park, 5400 W 15th St., Speedway, IN 46224. The event donates all proceeds to various 501.c.3 youth organizations and programs that demonstrate financial need; funding grants are evaluated and dispersed by the local BK5K Youth Fund Award Committee.

Registration and logistics include an early registration period that ends September 12, online registration that closes September 25, and race day registration available on site. Packet pickup is available on race morning. Note that T-shirt sizes are not guaranteed after the early registration period closes.
Entry fees (online and race day amounts):
- 5K Adults (18 and older): $17 early, $20 after early period, $25 race day.
- 5K Youth (17 and younger): $7 early, $10 after early period, $15 race day.
- Kids Fun Run (12 and younger): free during online registration; $5 race day.
Awards and prizes include trophies for the top three overall finishers, medals for the top three in each age group by gender, and cash prizes for the top three male and female finishers (1st $200, 2nd $100, 3rd $50).
