Bivalves for Boobies Fun Walk
The 12th Annual Bivalves for Boobies Fundraiser takes place on 17 October 2026 in Colonial Beach, Virginia. The event is a non-timed fundraising walk around the shoreline peninsula, with the course starting and finishing at Icehouse Brewery & Marina, 119 Monroe Bay Avenue.
The walking event offers a 5K distance and is sponsored by Denson's Chesapeake Bay Farm to Table Catering. It serves as the kickoff for the Bivalves for Boobies Oyster and Seafood culinary event on the same day. Package pick-up will be available at Icehouse Brewery & Marina.
All entry costs, minus Runsignup.com processing fees, will be donated to the Virginia Breast Cancer Foundation (VBCF). VBCF is a 501(c)(3) organization, federal tax identification number 54-1633519; gifts are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law. For those who prefer to donate by check, checks should be made payable to VBCF and mailed to 2821 Emerywood Parkway, Suite 203, Richmond, VA 23294. T-shirt purchases are optional.
