51st Annual Billy Bowlegs 5K Run/Walk
The Billy Bowlegs 5K Run/Walk takes place in Ft. Walton Beach, Florida, marking its 51st year in 2026. The event is held at Ft. Walton Beach High School and includes both running and walking categories. Participants follow a USAFT Certified 5K course that serves as an opening event for the summer running season.

The Kid's Run is conducted on the Ft. Walton Beach High School track and begins following the conclusion of the 5K event. Registration is open to the general public, with specific pricing available for Northwest Florida Track Club members.
The post-race activities are held in a shaded area with a view of the Okaloosa/Choctawhatchee Bay Sound. These festivities include live music alongside food and drinks for participants. Parking is located at the start and finish area at the high school, or near the post-race venue at Liza Jackson Park West Pavilion.
