51st Annual Billy Bowlegs 5K Run/Walk : Ft. Walton Beach, FL
The event is the 51st edition of the Billy Bowlegs 5K Run/Walk, held on June 6, 2026 at Ft. Walton Beach High School, 400 Hollywood Blvd, Ft. Walton Beach, FL 32580. The main distance is a 5K with a separate Billy Bowlegs Kid's Run at the FWBHS track shortly after the 5K.
The 5K course is USAFT certified. Post-race activities include live music, food and drinks, with a waterview of the Okaloosa/Choctawhatchee Bay Sound. Parking is available at Ft. Walton Beach High School near the start and finish, and at Liza Jackson Park West Pavilion for post-race access.
Packet pickup is available at Run With It on Friday, June 5 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM, and on race morning at Ft. Walton Beach High School from 6:00 AM to 7:15 AM. The NWFTC will have a booth at the Gate-to-Gate Run on Eglin AFB on May 24 where race registration can be completed.
