Bill's Beer Run
Bill's Beer Run is a 5-mile road race held on Casey Key in Nokomis, Florida, on October 25, 2026. The event is presented by the Manasota Track Club and is listed as the 38th annual running. The race is limited to 500 participants and is described as a club fundraiser that began in 1988 by an MTC member.
MTC members receive early registration opportunities and special pricing. Non-member registration price is stated as $150. Registrations made by September 1 guarantee a race shirt size; registrations after September 1 are not guaranteed to receive a shirt.
Additional participation options are offered:
- Pub Run Series: includes entry to the 5-mile race plus entry to three or four pub runs during October, is limited to 100 participants, and takes place on Thursdays at local bars. The series includes swag and social activities while supporting the club.
- VIP Package: limited to 25 members, includes race entry, Pub Run Series entry, ten raffle tickets, special swag, reserved parking on race morning, and event recognition; proceeds support student scholarships.
Per stated race rules, gun time determines prize money winners and time-bonus recipients, while tag (chip) time determines age-group results.
