About the race
The Bill Bruno Alumni Cross Country Run is a 5K cross country race held at Holmdel Park in Holmdel, NJ on November 14, 2026. The course follows the traditional Holmdel Park trails and will have the 1 mile and 2 mile points marked. The event is open to entrants of all ages and abilities and allows individuals to compete unattached or as part of a team. The race has a capped field for 2026 and limited entries may be available on race day if the event is not sold out.
Registration fees increase in stages, from an early price of $20 to an event day rate of $30 if space remains. The first 150 entrants will receive a commemorative mug. Team scoring in the 5K is based on each team’s top three finishers; fourth and fifth runners may displace other teams.
There are three team categories: high school and college teams with alumni, club and open fun teams, and coed teams which must include at least one finisher of each gender. Chip timing and live results will be provided. On-site parking is available.
Proceeds benefit The Shore Athletic Club, a nonprofit that supports youth and teen track, cross country and long distance running. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
