Dessert Dash - Tyler is scheduled for March 21, 2026, at Rose Rudman Park in Tyler, TX (450 Shiloh Rd, 75703). The event includes in-person and virtual options and multiple race distances. Packet pickup opens 1.5 hours before the race start. Dessert ticket redemption is available at the finish line. A dessert-themed photo zone with props will be available after the race.

Race distances and awards

• Kids Dash - for ages 10 and under; not timed; includes a race tee, finisher medal, and dessert ticket.
• 1 Mile - not chip-timed; includes a race tee, medal, and dessert ticket.
• 5K (3.1 miles) - chip-timed; awards include 1st overall male/female (Bigfoot Trophy), 1st masters (40+) recognition pin, and standard age-group awards.
• 10K (6.22 miles) - chip-timed; awards include 1st overall male/female (Bigfoot Trophy), 1st masters (40+) recognition pin, and standard age-group awards.
• Volunteer then Run 5K - limited spots; includes a custom chip-timed bib, race tee, finisher medal, and the ability to run the 5K after helping.
• Virtual Run - remote participation option.

Age-group awards for 5K and 10K cover standard ranges from 10 & under up to 70+. Youth pricing applies: ages 12 and under may run the 5K or 10K for $15.

Logistics and course

Race shirts and finisher medals are included for many events; shirt guarantee requires registration at least 10 days before race day. Aid stations are provided along the course. Course terrain is a mix of pavement, crushed granite, and some dirt paths. Volunteers have multiple roles and may receive race shirts or other listed benefits.
