The Day of the Dead Half Marathon - San Antonio takes place on October 4, 2026, at Northeast Lakeview College in Live Oak, Texas. The event offers multiple race options including a virtual run and a volunteer-then-run option that combines volunteering with participation.
- Kids Dash - about a 20 yard dash for ages 10 and under
- 1 Mile - untimed, includes shirt and medal
- 5K - 3.11 miles, chip timed

Race features
The course is described as running through park areas with lakes, trees, and mixed surfaces. Surfaces may include paved trails, crushed granite, and occasional dirt paths. Aid stations will provide water on course. Packet pickup is offered before the event. A costume contest is held before the race with judges and a prize package for the winner. A post-race rally tent will host music, refreshments, and awards announcements; a DJ will provide race announcements and music.

Chip timing is used for the 5K, Quarter Marathon, and Half Marathon. Awards include 1st overall trophies for male and female finishers, masters recognition for age 40+, and age-group pins for categories from 10 and under through 70+.
