Turkey Shuffle - Oklahoma City
The Turkey Shuffle is a November running event at Stars & Stripes Park, 3701 S Lake Hefner Dr, Oklahoma City, OK. The event offers multiple distance options, a costume contest, age group awards, and volunteer opportunities.
Distances available include a youth Kids Dash and timed and non-timed road/trail distances. All finishers receive a medal and a shirt. The 5K and 10K are chip timed and feature 1st overall trophies for male and female finishers, special recognition pins for masters (age 40+), and standard age group awards with top three pins in each age category. The 1 Mile and Kids Dash are not chip timed; the Kids Dash is aimed at children 10 and under and includes a shirt, medal, and recognition pin.
A costume contest will award a Biggest Turkey trophy and a prize pack that includes a certificate for two free future race entries, a gift card, and a Bigfoot Running Company swag pack. A DJ will provide music and on-course announcements. Aid stations will supply water and assistance on course. Snacks and refreshments will be available at the race rally tent.
Volunteer roles include course monitor, water station, finish line helper, packet pickup, lead bike, mascot, and sweeper. Full race volunteers may receive a race shirt, souvenir medal subject to availability, VIP access, and a free future race entry or a $20 prepaid digital gift card.
