Run White and Blue Mustang
The Canadian County GOP organizes the second annual Run White and Blue on November 7 at Mustang Wildhorse Park in Mustang, Oklahoma. The event aims to inspire unity and civic pride and takes place just before Veterans Day; participants are encouraged to wear red, white, and blue.
Events include the following distances:
- 5K
- 1 mile fun run
- 5K ruck
Online registration opens on June 15. Early bird registration rates apply through September 14, with higher rates from September 15 through race day. Race day registration and packet pickup are available in person. Packet pickup opens at 8:00 on race day.
Chip timing is provided by I40 Race Service and a course map will be provided. The 5K ruck runs concurrently with the 5K on the same course. Ruck minimum weights are 15 pounds for women and 25 pounds for men. T shirts are guaranteed for registrants who sign up by August 31 and are available on a first come first served basis afterward.
Awards are given to the top three males and females in these divisions 18 and under, 19 to 49, and 50 and over. First place overall male and female awards are given in the 5K ruck. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
