Oklahoma Celtic Breakaway
The Oklahoma Celtic Breakaway is a community running event in Norman, Oklahoma held on November 7, 2026, at 1001 East Robinson St. The event includes timed and untimed options and supports the Oklahoma Celtic player scholarship fund while highlighting a different community initiative each season.

- 3.1 Miles Celtic 5k, timed with a timing chip and coordinating race bib

A percentage of event proceeds will support an Oklahoma Celtic club alumnus facing extensive medical and rehabilitation expenses; funds are being raised through a crowdfunding effort. The event lists on-course and post-race amenities including a medal, DJ music by Nexxus Productions, finish line activities, a coordinating race bib for participants, a coffee truck and other food trucks, and warm-up sessions led by instructors from Orangetheory Fitness Norman. A T-shirt add-on is available for $15.00.
Oklahoma Celtic Football Club was founded in 1976 to develop young players and provide a pathway from recreational soccer to higher competition. The club describes a focus on technical development, character, and a family-focused environment on and off the field.
