Salute to Veterans 5K/10K/Half Marathon - Oklahoma City
The Salute to Veterans event takes place at Lake Stanley Draper in Oklahoma City and offers multiple race options including a virtual race. Distances include:

Veterans race for free and active duty military may register for a reduced fee of $15. A government issued military ID is required to receive the veteran or active duty rate. All participants registered by October 28 are guaranteed race apparel in their size; packet pickup details are to be determined.
All finishers receive a custom finisher medal and a race shirt. Awards are given to the top three male and female overall finishers in each distance, to the top three overall Masters, Grand Masters, and Senior Masters male and female finishers, and to the top three athletes in five year age groups starting at 10 and under across all distances.
The course at Lake Stanley Draper is described as mostly flat with only minor elevation changes. Self serve water stations are placed at approximately every 1.5 miles. Participants must maintain at least a 16 minute per mile pace to complete the event. The virtual race allows participants to run at a location of their choice, submit results online, and view official results the Monday after the event.
