Salute to Veterans 5K/10K/Half Marathon - Oklahoma City
This event at Lake Stanley Draper in Oklahoma City features road races over multiple distances and a virtual race option. The organizer provides a race shirt and a custom finisher medal to participants. Veterans may register for free and Active Duty military may register for a reduced fee of $15; military ID is required.

The course is described by the organizer as mostly flat. Self-serve water stations are placed at approximately every 1.5 miles; participants who prefer not to stop may bring personal hydration. Runners must maintain at least a 16 minute per mile pace to finish.
Awards are given to the top three overall male and female finishers in each distance, to the top three overall Masters, Grand Masters, and Senior Masters male and female finishers, and to the top three athletes in each traditional five-year age group starting at 10 & Under across all distances.
Registration follows tiered pricing with preview, early, regular, late, and race day periods. Participants registered by October 28 are guaranteed race swag in their size; packet pickup details are to be determined. Virtual participants can submit results online and are eligible for awards.
