Turkey Shuffle - Dallas (Carrollton, TX)
The Turkey Shuffle takes place on 11/08/2026 at Ted Polk Middle School in Carrollton, Texas. The event is presented by Bigfoot Running Company and is held in park and greenbelt settings with mixed course surfaces such as pavement, crushed granite, and occasional dirt paths.
Distances offered:
- Kids Dash : about 50 m, for children 10 and under.
- 1 Mile run.
- 5K (3.11 miles), chip timed.
- 10K (6.22 miles), chip timed.
- Volunteer then Run 5K option.
- Virtual Run of 6.22 miles.
The Kids Dash is not timed and includes a tee shirt, medal, and a Kids Dash recognition pin; a race camera will capture the finish. The 1 Mile event is not chip timed and includes a tee shirt and medal. The 5K and 10K are chip timed and include overall trophies for male and female finishers, masters recognition pins, and standard age group awards. All finishers of all distances receive a medal and shirt.
Amenities and services include aid stations with water on course, on-site snacks and refreshments at the race rally tent, live awards at the registration tent, and music from DJ Sasquatch. A costume contest awards a "Biggest Turkey" trophy and a prize pack that includes a certificate for two future race entries, an HEB gift card, and a Bigfoot Swag Pack.
Volunteer opportunities include course monitors, aid stations, packet pickup, lead bike, mascot, and other roles. Packet pickup is offered starting 1.5 hours before the event. Shirt guarantee cutoff is 10 days before the race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
