Red, White and Blue Half Marathon - Shreveport
The Red, White and Blue Half Marathon takes place on June 13, 2026 at Walker Place Park in Bossier City, LA. The event is organized by Bigfoot Running Company and offers a mix of in-person and virtual options across several distances.
Distance options include:
- Kids Dash : about 50 meters, for children 10 and under, not timed.
- 2 Mile : not chip timed; includes a shirt and medal.
- 4 Mile : chip timed; trophies for 1st overall male and female; masters recognition.
- 8 Mile : chip timed; trophies for 1st overall male and female; masters recognition.
- Half Marathon (13.1 miles) : chip timed; trophies for 1st overall male and female; masters recognition.
- Volunteer then Run : volunteer hour then run the 4 mile; limited to first five participants.
- Virtual Run : remote participation option.
All finishers receive a shirt and a finisher medal. The 4 mile, 8 mile, and half marathon use chip timing and have age group awards and age category pins across standard ranges. Aid stations are placed on course and snacks and bottled water are available at the finish area. Packet pickup is offered 1.5 hours before the event start and volunteers check in 1.5 hours before the start.
