Event overview
Mardi Gras Madness - Fort Worth is scheduled for Sunday, February 15, 2026, at Cravens Park, 400 Cravens Park Dr, Arlington, TX 76018. The race is organized by Bigfoot Running Company and includes in-person and virtual options. Packet pickup is offered before the event. Courses are held at parks and greenbelts and may use paved trails, crushed granite, and some dirt paths.
Distances and entry
- Kids Dash - ~50 meters, for ages 10 and under.
- 1 Mile - open to all ages; not chip timed.
- 5K (3.11 miles) - chip timed.
- 10K (6.22 miles) - chip timed.
- Volunteer then Run 5K (3.11 miles) - limited spots; includes running after volunteering.
- Virtual Run
All participants receive a race tee and finisher medal. Shirt sizes are guaranteed for registrations completed 10 days before race day. Youth pricing and event entry fees are specified for each event.
Awards, contest, and on-course features
5K and 10K awards include a Bigfoot Trophy for 1st overall male and female, masters recognition for 40+, and age-group pins for top finishers. Age groups span from 10 & under up to 70+. A costume contest is held before the race; the winner receives a prize pack and serves as Grand Marshal. On-course features include themed aid stations and bead tosses to participants.
