Bigfoot Classic - Houston
The Bigfoot Classic - Houston is scheduled for Saturday, January 3, 2026, at Brazos River Park in Sugarland, TX 77479. The event is held in a park setting and may include mixed surfaces such as paved trails, crushed granite and dirt paths. Aid stations will provide water on course. A race rally tent will offer snacks and drinks. The event proceeds in all weather conditions.

- Kids Dash - about 50 meters, not timed, for ages 10 and under
- 1 Mile - not chip timed
- 5K - 3.11 miles, chip timed
- 10K - 6.22 miles, chip timed
- 15K - 9.33 miles, chip timed
- Volunteer then Run 5K - limited spots, chip timed option
- Virtual Run - remote participation option
Race features and logistics
All finishers receive a medal and shirt. The 5K, 10K and 15K have chip timing, overall trophies for first male and female, masters recognition pins for first masters (age 40+), and age-group pins for multiple brackets from 10 and under through 70+. A costume contest named "Legendary Beast" will be judged by crowd vote with a trophy, a prize pack, and a free entry to a future Bigfoot Classic awarded to the winner. A DJ will provide music and runner announcements. Volunteer roles are listed with position descriptions; full race volunteers receive a race shirt, VIP access and a choice of a free future race entry or a $20 prepaid digital gift card.
