Big Little Run 2026
The Big Little Run takes place on September 27, 2026 at Guelph Lake Conservation Area in Guelph, Ontario. The event offers multiple distances and raises funds for Big Brothers Big Sisters of Guelph; proceeds from registration and fundraising support their mentoring programs.
Distances:
- 5K run or walk on paved, gravel and grassy roads
- 10K on a mix of gravel and paved roads to the lake dam
- Half Marathon around the lake perimeter and surrounding roads
Course notes: routes include paved and gravel surfaces, some grassy sections, and several small hilly sections. Runners and walkers will pass lake views, beaches, the dam, camping areas, surrounding forests and nearby farmlands depending on the distance.
Included for participants: a race bib and chip timing with official results, a finisher medal, a goody bag, access to digital event photos, and on-site medical services provided by Natural Choice Medical Clinic. The clinic will offer sideline support and demonstrations of therapies such as massage, osteopathy, physiotherapy and acupuncture.
Logistics: course maps, start times, and directions are emailed to participants the month of the event. On-site parking, toilets, water stations and first aid are available. Raffle tickets are available for purchase and the event runs rain or shine.
Refund policy: full refunds available until September 13, 2026 excluding processing fees; 50% refunds until September 20, 2026 excluding processing fees; no refunds after that date. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
