Kitchener Kids with Cancer 2026
The event takes place on September 19, 2026 at Kiwanis Park, 1000 Kiwanis Park Drive, Kitchener, Ontario. It raises funds for the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario; the fundraising goal is CA$100,000 and CA$873.39 has been raised to date.

- 200 m kids race for age 7 and under
The course is mostly on dirt trails within Kiwanis Park. The 5 km is one loop with an out-and-back section; the 10 km is two loops of the 5 km route. Each kilometer is marked and the courses are certified. Water stations are provided: 1 on the 5 km course and 3 on the 10 km course. Participants are asked to stay to the right on trail sections. Parking is available on the park grounds. Animals are permitted in the park but not on the race routes.
Registration and race kit details include kit pickup at Conestoga Mall on the days before the event and kit pickup on site at Kiwanis Park on race day. The first 700 entrants receive a technical t-shirt; all finishers receive a finisher medal. Children 12 and under receive entry discounts for the 5 km and 10 km categories. Strollers and their occupants are free but must be registered. All entries are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-deferrable.
Post-race offerings include refreshments and musical entertainment provided with entry, and food trucks available for purchases. The event is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario.
