Kitchener Kids with Cancer 2026
The event takes place on Saturday, September 19, 2026 at Kiwanis Park, 1000 Kiwanis Park Drive, Kitchener, Ontario. This is the 13th edition and the event supports the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario.

Course and logistics
The 5 km route is one loop with an out-and-back section; the 10 km is two loops of the same route. The course runs mostly on dirt trails within Kiwanis Park. Each kilometer is marked and distances are certified. Water stations: 1 on the 5 km course and 3 on the 10 km course. Runners are required to stay to the right on trail sections. Parking is available on the park grounds. Animals are permitted in the park but not on the run/walk course. The race is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario.
Services and rules
All finishers receive a finisher medal. The first 700 registrants receive a limited-edition technical t-shirt; no t-shirts are available for race day entries. Post-race refreshments and musical entertainment are provided free with entry; food trucks will be onsite for purchases. A time limit is applied, calculated at 10 minutes per kilometer; participants who fall behind may be required to continue without race support beginning at the halfway point.
Fundraising and registration
