About the race
Kitchener Kids with Cancer Run & Walk takes place on September 19, 2026 at Kiwanis Park, 1000 Kiwanis Park Drive, Kitchener, Ontario, Canada. The event supports the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario and combines timed races, an untimed walk, and fundraising activities.

- 5 KM run or walk
- 10 KM run
- 200 m kids run for age 7 and under
The 5 KM route is one loop with an out and back section. The 10 KM consists of two loops of the 5 KM course. The course runs mostly on dirt trails inside Kiwanis Park. Each kilometre is marked. Water stations are provided with one on the 5 KM course and three on the 10 KM course. The event is sanctioned by Athletics Ontario and courses are certified distances. Runners are asked to keep to the right on trail sections. Vehicles may park on the park grounds. Animals are allowed in the park but are not permitted on the run or walk courses.
The first 700 entrants receive a technical t shirt and all finishers receive a finisher medal. Post race refreshments, musical entertainment and food trucks are available. Fundraising features pledge prizes and a 50 50 draw; the listed beneficiary shows CA$37,183.86 raised toward a CA$100,000 goal. Registration is non refundable, non transferable and non deferrable. Kit pickup is offered in the days before the event and on race morning. A time limit is enforced at ten minutes per kilometre. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
