Kitchener Kids with Cancer 2026
This event offers timed runs and an untimed walk at Kiwanis Park, 1000 Kiwanis Park Drive, Kitchener, Ontario. It includes multiple distance options and a short kids race.
- 10 km run, two loops of the 5 km route
- 5 km run, one loop with an out-and-back section
- 5 km walk, untimed
- Kids 200 m run for children age 7 and under
The course runs mostly on dirt trails inside Kiwanis Park. Distances are certified and each kilometre is marked. Water stations: 1 on the 5 km course and 3 on the 10 km course. Participants must stay to the right on trail sections. Parking is available on the park grounds. Animals are allowed in the park but are not permitted on the run or walk course.
The event benefits the Pediatric Oncology Group of Ontario; fundraising totals and a goal are listed, and there are prizes for top fundraisers plus a 50/50 draw. All finishers receive a finisher medal. The first 700 entrants receive a limited edition technical t-shirt. Children 12 and under receive reduced entry fees and stroller occupants are free but must be registered. The registration policy states entries are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-deferrable.
