Beat Bechtel at Bechtel Park, Waterloo, ON
The event takes place on September 13, 2026 at Bechtel Park in Waterloo, Ontario. It is part of the Run Pure + Simple series, a set of races offered with minimal extras.
The race is a chip timed trail run of 5 km completed as two loops. The course uses unpaved park trails and the loop is certified at 2.5 km. Timing uses reusable chips that must be returned after finishing. Results are posted online after the race.
Services are limited: no t shirts or finisher medals, and food or awards are minimal if provided. Kit pickup is available only on race day at Bechtel Park. The event is free for Run Waterloo members; non members pay a registration fee. All entries are non refundable, non transferable, and non deferrable. Strollers are not permitted on the course.
