Beat Bechtel
Beat Bechtel takes place at Bechtel Park, Bridge Street West, Waterloo, ON, Canada. It is part of the Run Pure + Simple series, a no‑bells set of events, and is free for Run Waterloo members. General entry is listed at $15 plus fees and taxes.
The event is a 5 km race run as two loops on unpaved park trails. The course is certified as 2.5 km per loop. Timing is chip based using reusable chips; participants are asked to return chips after finishing. The organizer states there is no race swag and no finisher medals, and that food and awards, if provided, are minimal.
Kit pickup is available only on race day at Bechtel Park. Registration terms are strict: entries are non refundable, non transferable, and non deferrable. Strollers are not permitted on the course.
