Beat Bechtel is a 5 km trail race held at Bechtel Park, Bridge Street West, Waterloo, ON, Canada on September 13, 2026. The course consists of two loops and is based on a certified 2.5 km distance using unpaved park trails.
The event is part of the Run Pure + Simple series, which offers races without extras. There is no race swag such as t-shirts or finisher medals; food and awards, if offered, are minimal. The event is free for Run Waterloo members; the standard entry is listed as $15 plus fees, shown as CA$18.58.
Timing uses reusable chips and participants are asked to return chips after finishing. Kit pickup occurs only on race day at Bechtel Park. The registration policy states that entries are non-refundable, non-transferable, and non-deferrable. Strollers are not permitted on the course.
