BIG LEX 4 Miler takes place on May 23, 2026 at Keeneland Racecourse, 4201 Versailles Road, Lexington, KY 40510. The event includes multiple distances and participation options:
- 4 miles - BIG LEX 4 Miler
- 1 mile - BIG LEX 1 Mile Fun Walk
- 0.25 mile - Little LEX Kids' 1/4 Mile Dash

Online registration opens January 1, 2026. The race is presented by VisitLEX and hosted at Keeneland Racecourse.
Format and additional information
The in-person 4-mile route runs through the historic Keeneland grounds. The event will offer commemorative performance shirts in mens, womens and youth sizes, overall and age-group awards, a DJ, and free race photos. A virtual runner/walker option is available; virtual participants make a donation and will receive a mailed or local packet containing a commemorative shirt and bib. Packet pickup will be available in advance and on race morning near the Start/Finish area.
A referral program refunds $10 to a registrant who refers three people who sign up using the registrant’s unique registration link. Sponsors listed include VisitLEX, Keeneland, RaceRise and Roan & Co Realty. The 2026 race charity beneficiary will be announced when online registration opens.
