BIG LEX 4 Miler : Keeneland Racecourse, Lexington KY
The event centers on a chip-timed 4 Mile run/walk at Keeneland Racecourse in Lexington, Kentucky. The 4 Miler is managed by Team RaceRise and is held entirely on paved surfaces. Awards are offered for Overall, Age Group, and Largest Team. Commemorative race shirts are provided in men's and women's sizes.
Several related events are part of the same race day:
- 4 Miles : chip-timed run/walk on paved course
- 1 Mile Fun Walk : untimed, no awards or timing
- Little LEX Kids' 1/4 Mile : untimed, for kids age 12 and under, includes shirt and finisher medal
- Virtual Runner/Walker 4 Miles : participants can receive a mailed commemorative shirt; no awards
Packet pickup details will be announced closer to the race date; there is also race morning pickup at Keeneland near the Start/Finish area. A virtual participation option allows people who are not local to receive a commemorative shirt and submit a time from their hometown. The event includes DJ entertainment and free race photos. Registration opens in early January and various registration fees apply by event; a referral reward offers a $10 refund when three friends register using the referrer’s unique link.
