Big Dipper Half Marathon

The Big Dipper is a challenging half marathon in Dronfield, Derbyshire. The 13.1-mile course climbs about 1,675 feet, rolling through the North Derbyshire countryside and the Peak District National Park. Starting at the Hyde Park Inn hilltop, runners head via Barlow, Shillito Woods and Unthank before finishing with a final uphill return to the start.

The race runs on closed roads with scenic countryside views and includes three water stations, bag drop and toilets. Features include an iconic commemorative technical T-shirt and prizes for course-record and best PB. Volunteers support the event, results are published afterward, and there is a 3h30 cut-off.
