Big Dipper Half Marathon
The Big Dipper Half Marathon, organized by Dronfield Running Club, is a challenging 13.1-mile road race held in Dronfield, Derbyshire, rolling through the scenic North Derbyshire countryside and the Peak District National Park. The course features a demanding 1,675 feet of ascent, starting at The Hyde Park Inn and passing through Barlow, Shillito Woods, Unthank, and Holmesfield before finishing with a tough uphill stretch back to the start. The race is run on closed roads, offering stunning countryside views.
