Big Dipper Half Marathon
The Big Dipper Half Marathon, organized by Dronfield Running Club, is one of the toughest half marathon road races in the UK. Held in Dronfield, Derbyshire, the 13.1-mile course features a challenging 1,675 feet of ascent through the scenic North Derbyshire countryside and the Peak District National Park. Starting at The Hyde Park Inn, the route passes through Barlow, Shillito Woods, and Unthank before returning uphill to the finish.
The race is run on closed roads, offering stunning countryside views. Facilities include water stations, toilets, and baggage storage.
