Event
The Pink Moon Ladies Trail Half Marathon is a women-only trail race on 4 April 2026, organised by First Light Adventure. The event is based on the Lunar Trails half marathon route and will raise funds for the local Women's Aid charity, The Elm Foundation. The minimum entry age is 18. Entry fees are listed as £25 for UKA members and £27 for non-members. Entries open 11 July 2025 and close 20 March 2026.
Course and race format
The route is an out-and-back from Race HQ at Rock Lane in Sutton Scarsdale. It runs through Sutton Spring Wood and climbs to the Five Pits Trail, then follows an undulating course to a turning loop with an aid station. The course will be marked and marshalled in places; additional marshals in high-visibility clothing will be positioned in Sutton Spring Wood and will use glow sticks to guide runners. A tail runner will sweep the course for those who prefer extra support. Finishers receive a medal and complementary cake and hot drinks by a campfire. Free car parking and toilets are available at Race HQ and nearby lane. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
