Big Brothers Big Sisters Miles for Mentorship 2026 takes place on October 4, 2026 in Lansing, MI at Hawk Island Park, 1601 E Cavanaugh Rd. The event includes the following race options:

Race information
The 5k is an out-and-back course that starts and ends at the Red Tail Shelter. Timing for the race is provided by the Michigan Running Foundation and results will be posted during the race and online. Children 12 and under may enter the Spooky Sprint Kids Run; costumes are encouraged and each child will receive a treat bag and a finisher medal. Race shirts will be announced by June 2026 and sizing is unisex. Packet pick up will be in person only; details are to be announced. Parking is available at Hawk Island Park. Dogs are not allowed unless they are service animals. Baby joggers and strollers are allowed but participants with strollers and walkers should line up toward the back of the starting area. There are no refunds; the event will proceed rain or shine. Pricing tiers begin at $25 for early registration and increase in stages through October.
