The Run Before the Roast

The Run Before the Roast takes place on September 19, 2026, at 505 E. Michigan Avenue in Lansing, Michigan. It is presented as part of the Church of the Resurrection 91st Annual Ox Roast.

The event program includes several running and youth activities:

• 5K Run/Walk - 3.1 miles, professionally timed
• Kids 1 Mile Fun Run - 1 mile, untimed fun run
• Kids Relays - relay activities for children

Proceeds from the event benefit Resurrection School. Registered participants receive a professionally timed race experience for the 5K and T-shirts available in adult and youth sizes.
