Big Apple Triathlon - New York City
The Big Apple Triathlon is scheduled for October 10, 2026 in New York City with race activity centered near Riverside Drive and West 104th Street. The event stages an open-water swim in the Hudson River, a bike course through Manhattan, and a finish inside Central Park. Registration is open and the event lists a price of USD 249; prices increase every 500 registrants and the event capacity is noted at 2,500 entries.

- Sprint: 1500 m swim, 12.4 mi bike, 2.5 mi run
- Olympic: 1500 m swim, 24.8 mi bike, 6.2 mi run
- Sprint Aquabike: 1500 m swim, 12.4 mi bike, no run
- Olympic Aquabike: 1500 m swim, 24.8 mi bike, no run
- Relays: one athlete swims, one bikes, one runs
The event follows USA Triathlon guidelines; wetsuits are permitted below 78°F and all participants must have a valid USAT membership or purchase a one-day license. There is no event parking at Riverside Park or Central Park; public transportation, rideshare, and drop-offs are recommended and the 1/2/3 subway lines at 72nd, 79th, and 96th Streets provide access. Gear must be labeled, placed in a clear plastic bag, and stored only in designated areas. Spectators may attend within designated viewing areas. Awards include top three in each age group and overall podium places; a club competition is available. Entry fees are non-refundable, though transfers to the next year are allowed with a $100 transfer fee up to one month before the event.
