Bexhill Lions Santa Dash / Santa Paws
The Bexhill Lions Santa Dash and Santa Paws is a sponsored festive event on Sunday 6 December 2026 at the De La Warr Pavilion and Bexhill seafront. It is presented as a family event open to a wide range of ages and abilities and aims to raise funds for local people and groups, with profits from the Santa Paws element directed to an animal worthy cause.
Participants may run, jog, walk, push prams, walk with a dog or use a wheelchair on a flat, user friendly promenade. Two route options are offered:

- 5 km
Adult and child entries each receive a Santa suit and a medal; dogs that are entered and paid for receive a medal. Adult Santa suits are one size and are reserved on entry. Child suits are offered in 7-9 years and 10-12 years sizes. No official suits are provided for dogs but dogs may wear their own festive outfits. Suits can be collected in advance or on the day and a token system is used for dog medal collection.
Dog participation requires dogs without known aggression or behavioural concerns, dogs on a fixed short lead, responsible adult control, and owner responsibility for waste and welfare. Organisers may refuse any dog on safety or welfare grounds and owners enter with dogs at their own risk.
