Event overview
The Bexhill Lions Santa Dash/Santa Paws is a festive community run and dog-friendly event held on Bexhill seafront, based at the De La Warr Pavilion. The course is on the flat, user-friendly promenade and offers two distance options:
- 2 km
- 5 km
Participants may run, jog, walk, push prams, walk with a dog or use a wheelchair. Adult and child entrants receive a Santa suit and a medal. Dogs that are entered and paid for receive a medal; dogs should be kept on a short lead. Profits from the Santa Dash are allocated to local people and groups in need, and profits from Santa Paws are allocated to an animal cause.
Entry and practical information
There are separate entry categories for adults, children and dogs, with child age categories for 7-9 years and 10-14 years. Adult Santa suits are one size; child suits are available in the two age groups and are reserved at entry. Participants who wish to wear a Santa suit and also receive a medal must be entered as participants. Suits can be collected in advance at the De La Warr Pavilion or on the event day.
