Christmas Pudding Dash
The Christmas Pudding Dash is a multi‑terrain cross country event held from Pett Village Hall in Pett, Hastings TN35 4HD. The programme includes a main race, a 2 Mile Fun Run and a children's Drumsticks Scurry. The course runs through farmland and woods around the village and is described as undulating and muddy.
The advertised five mile course is actually closer to 4.2 miles and is a single loop. Detailed route maps and GPX files are available for download.
The event raises funds for Shelter, an organisation that supports people experiencing or at risk of homelessness. Event information will be sent to registered entrants before race day.

Included items listed for participants are a bespoke medal, free photographs, trophies and prizes for leading runners, and a prize for best dressed runner in festive fancy dress. On the day entry fees shown are £30 for the 5 Mile, £10 for the 2 Mile Fun Run and £7 for the Drumsticks Scurry; on the day entry is subject to availability.
The site is in a rural village. Limited parking is available at the village hall and will be allocated on a first come first served basis. Nearby train stations include Three Oaks, Ore and Hastings but the start is several miles from those stations so a taxi or cycle may be needed.
