Beverly Hills Turkey Trot 5K
The Beverly Hills Turkey Trot 5K Run and Family Walk is an annual community event in the 19th Ward held on Saturday, November 28, at 9200 S. Hamilton in the North Beverly neighborhood. Now in its 18th year, the event expects over 2,200 participants and routes runners and walkers through tree-lined streets on a CARA-certified course.

- 5K Run, chip-timed and bib-tagged on a CARA-certified course
- Family Walk, untimed with family pricing available
The 5K Run is timed by a professional timing service and runners are placed into age and gender groups following CARA guidelines; awards are presented by age group. Registration opens August 15 with online registration closing November 25; participants who register by that online deadline are guaranteed a long-sleeved event t-shirt and a gift bag. Those who register by October 30 may request a free upgrade to a hooded sweatshirt if the option is chosen during registration.
Packet pick-up is scheduled on multiple days and locations in the week before the event; packets are not mailed. A breakfast follows the event in the gym at Christ the King with a per person and per family price. Proceeds support the 19th Ward Youth & Community Foundation and the John McNicholas Pediatric Brain Tumor Foundation. Volunteer opportunities are available for race-day duties.
