Beverley Westwood - Sunday 7th December
This is a colour-coded regional orienteering event held at Beverley Westwood. Entries close 08:30 on 2nd December. Car sharing is encouraged. Event facilities include an event tent, a Green pop-up tent for enquiries and download, and a portable toilet. Help, advice and dibber hire are available. First aid is available at the finish. Results will be posted on the club website and live results are available via a QR code on the download printout.

- Brown - 7.8 km, 80 m climb; experienced orienteers
- Blue - 5.8 km, 70 m climb; experienced orienteers
- Green - 4.0 km, 50 m climb; experienced orienteers
- Short Green - 3.4 km, 50 m climb; experienced orienteers
- Very Short Green - 2.9 km, 40 m climb; experienced orienteers
- Light Green - 2.9 km, 30 m climb; improving orienteers
- Orange - 2.7 km, 25 m climb; novice, mostly on paths
- Yellow - 1.8 km, 25 m climb; novice, all on paths
- White - 1.1 km, 15 m climb; novice, all on paths
Location, terrain and safety
Location: Beverley Westwood, with parking on the verge of Walkington Road. Terrain is generally runnable common land with paths, small wooded areas and contour features. The area contains a golf course; golf greens are out of bounds. Cows graze the pasture. Dogs are allowed if under control. There are minor road crossings on Green to Brown courses, making those courses unsuitable for juniors under 16; there are no crossings on Light Green, Orange, Yellow and White.
Entry and fees
Standard fees include Senior £10.00 and Junior £5.00. Senior novice entry is £5.00. British Orienteering non-member supplements and chip hire fees apply. Juniors are under 21 on 31st December. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
