Beulah Firecracker 5K
The Beulah Firecracker 5K is a community running event held in Beulah, Michigan at 7122 Prospect Ave on July 4, 2027. The event includes a standard 5K distance and a family 5K category for groups of three or more direct family members.
The course begins in Beulah, travels outside of town with a few hills, follows a dirt two-track and includes a short downhill through a forest. The finish is on the gravel Betsie Valley Trail back in town near the shores of Crystal Lake. The race will be professionally timed by Sportstats and live results will be available after the race. Awards and pickups are scheduled after a free 1 mile fun run.
Registration options and fees are stated as follows: online registration is $25 with no additional online fees; in-person registration and packet or T-shirt pickup take place at the pavilion in Beulah on July 3rd with cash or online signup available. Morning of race registration and packet pickup is available for a higher fee. T-shirts are guaranteed for the first 700 participants with limited sizes.
Awards for the 5K include custom prints for first and second overall in the men’s and women’s divisions, awards for masters and grand masters, custom glasses for age group first place finishers, trophies for first place in 18 and under, and medals for second and third in each age group. Walk and run participants will receive a ribbon. The family category is free with entry and the times of the three fastest family members are combined to determine the fastest family. Family discount pricing applies for groups of four to six with specified fees and a limit of six for the discounted family entry. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
