The Beulah Firecracker 5K takes place on Saturday, July 4, 2026, in Beulah, MI (7122 Prospect Ave). The event includes a 5K and a 1-mile fun run. Registration fees vary by method and timing; listed fees in materials range from $20 up to $35, and there are family pricing packages (for example, 4 for $75, 5 for $90, 6+ for $100). Course, timing and awards
The course begins in Beulah, goes outside town with a few hills, follows a dirt two-track, includes a short downhill through forest, and finishes along the gravel Betsie Valley Trail near the shores of Crystal Lake. The race is professionally timed by Sportstats and live results are available after the race. Awards for the 5K include custom prints for overall finishers, masters and grand masters distinctions, custom glasses for age-group winners, trophies for first place in 18-and-under, and medals for 2nd and 3rd in each age group. Medals must be claimed in person; unclaimed medals may be picked up at the Benzie County Chamber of Commerce July 5 through July 10 between 9 am and 5 pm.
