Beulah Firecracker 5K, Beulah MI
The Beulah Firecracker 5K is scheduled for July 4, 2026 in Beulah, Michigan at 7122 Prospect Ave. The event includes a 5K (3.1 Miles) running race and a free 1-mile fun run. It is hosted and sponsored by the Crystal Lake Community Business Association.
The course begins in Beulah, travels outside of town with a few hills, follows a dirt two-track, and includes a short downhill through forest. The finish is along the gravel Betsie Valley Trail back in town near the shores of Crystal Lake.
Online registration is $25. In-person registration and packet and t-shirt pick-up take place at the pavilion in Beulah on July 3 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm. Morning registration and packet pickup on race day is available for $35 from 6:45 to 7:45 am. T-shirts are guaranteed to the first 550 participants. There are no additional fees for registering online.
The race will be professionally timed by Sportstats and live results will be available after the race. Awards for the 5K include custom prints for overall 1st and 2nd places in the men’s and women’s divisions, 1st place overall in masters and grand masters, custom glasses for 1st in each age group, trophies for 1st in 18 and under, and medals for 2nd and 3rd in each age group. Medals must be claimed in person; unclaimed medals may be picked up at the Benzie County Chamber of Commerce office July 5 through 10 from 9:00 am to 5:00 pm. A family category is available for direct family members of three or more. Families of 3 or more are entered in the Fastest Family competition and family pricing discounts apply for groups of four, five, and six.
