Better Together 5K
The Better Together 5K takes place on Saturday, November 22, 2025, in Berea, KY at Berea City Park (5 Pirate Parkway, 40403). The event supports the Berea Food Bank and continues a community food or fund drive tradition that dates back 33 years. The event program includes these options:
- 5K Run/Walk
- Kid's Dash (ages 0-17)
- Virtual Runner/Walker
Course, services and awards
The course is described as relatively flat and fast, routing through Berea City Park and the Berea City Trail. The 5K route is a long out-and-back with an extra loop around the soccer field area; there is one water station that participants pass twice. Packet pickup is planned on race morning near the football field and bleachers, with a possible Friday pickup option on Berea College campus.
Race features include awards for the top three male and female overall finishers and top three male and female in age groups: 0-9, 10-19, 20-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, and 60+. Wheelchairs, walkers, strollers, and dogs on leashes are permitted. Additional amenities listed are winter beanie or race caps, a fleece headband option, free snacks and hot chocolate at the finish, free race photos, and community and college celebration elements.
