Besotted at Bingley
Besotted at Bingley is a trail running event organised by Its Grim Up North Running on 14 February 2026 at Wagon Lane, Bingley, alongside the Leeds and Liverpool Canal. The route runs mainly on the towpath and is described as flat apart from the 3-rise and 5-rise locks. The course is chip timed and licenced by the Trail Running Association. The event layout includes marshals and signage, feed and drink stations approximately every 3 miles, and toilets at the start. Finishers receive a bespoke medal and post-race treats. Race distances, logistics and rules
- 5k : open to entrants aged 16 and over.
- 10k : open to entrants aged 16 and over.
- 10 Mile.
- Half Marathon : open to entrants aged 17 and over.
- 20 Miles : open to entrants aged 18 and over.
- Marathon : open to entrants aged 18 and over.
- Ultra Marathon.
There is no parking at the registration/start/finish; on-road and town centre parking is available nearby. Bingley train station is about 1.5 miles from the event location. The organiser encourages participants to bring a reusable cup or bottle because feed stations aim to be cup-less. Large over-ear headphones are banned; bone-conduction or one-in-one-out earphones are permitted. Runners who need to withdraw should inform the nearest marshal.
