Event Overview
The Berry Dairy Days 5K and 10K Race is part of the historic Berry Dairy Days festival in Burlington. The festival, one of the oldest in Skagit County, began in 1937 as a fundraiser organized by volunteer firefighters and celebrates the area's agriculture, farming traditions, and community.
Event Details
The event takes place at Skagit River Park. Participants can choose between a 5K or 10K race. Standard registration fees are $30 for the 5K and $40 for the 10K. An automatic age-based discount is available for participants aged 18 and under, as well as 70 and over. A separate discount code is provided for active-duty military, veterans, and first responders.
Registration and Logistics
Packet pick-up is available on Friday at Skagit Running Company in Mount Vernon and on race day at Skagit River Park. Day-of-race registration is available, but prices increase and finisher medals are not guaranteed for late registrants. Pre-registered participants are guaranteed a finisher medal.
Perks and Awards
All finishers receive a ticket for a strawberry shortcake, a traditional festival treat. Race shirts are available for separate purchase. Awards are given to the top three male and female finishers in each race. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
