Anacortes Santa Run
The Anacortes Santa Run takes place on December 6, 2025 in Anacortes, WA (601 Seafarers Way, 98221). The event includes two races:
- 5k Santa Run
- 800 yards Run with Rudolph - Kid’s Dash
Race details
Every registered runner receives a full Santa suit for the run. Bibs and Santa suits can be picked up on December 4 and 5 from 5-7pm at the Anacortes Rockfish Grill beer garden, 320 Commercial Ave (beer garden is the tent behind the restaurant). Race day pick up is available for out-of-area participants for a $3 fee.
The event lists a family discount: register three or more runners on the same account to save $5.00 per runner. Registration proceeds will help fund the Anacortes High School Cross Country Team.
The 5k course is described as flat and runs around Cap Sante Marina. Race features include a group start with Christmas carols, timed results, a finisher medal, and on-course or post-race offerings such as cookies, coffee, hot cocoa, and other treats. A prize of one gallon of eggnog is noted for the first male and first female across the finish line. The event also includes a "Beat the Elves" challenge in which two elf runners start five minutes later. Visit the organization's website for the most recent information.
