Bulldog 5K Sleigh Ride Fun Run/Walk
The event takes place on Saturday, December 19, 2026, in Mount Vernon, Washington at 2700 Martin Road. The program includes two entries: the main Bulldog 5K Sleigh Ride Fun Run/Walk and a separate Bulldog 5K entry for current MVHS cross country team members.
Course and participant services
Participants will complete a full 5K around the Del Trail (Skagit Playfields), a course named for MVHS distance coach Jess del Bosque. Each participant receives a T-shirt and a Santa hat. Ornament medals are awarded to top finishers in each age group. Water and hot drinks will be available after the event. Registration must be completed by December 13 to receive a T-shirt.
Proceeds and sponsorship
All proceeds go to the Non-School District Mount Vernon Athletic Fund to benefit runners attending XC Summer Camp. Donations are accepted. The event is not sponsored by the Mount Vernon School District, and the district assumes no responsibility for the conduct or safety of the activity.
