Event details
The Bulldog 5K Sleigh Ride Fun Run/Walk is a community run/walk held in Mount Vernon, Washington, at 2700 Martin Road (Skagit Playfields). The course is a full 5K around the Del Trail, which is named for the local high school’s long-time distance coach. Each participant receives a T-shirt and a Santa hat. A team of MVHS cross-country runners will lead the group at the start, and ornament medals will be awarded to top finishers in each age group. Water and hot drinks are provided after the event. The organizer lists a regular entry with a fee and a separate no-cost entry for current MVHS cross-country team members.
Logistics and purpose
Registration must be completed by December 12 to receive a T-shirt. All proceeds go to the Non-School District Mount Vernon Athletic Fund and will benefit runners attending cross-country summer camp; donations are accepted. This activity is not sponsored by the Mount Vernon School District, and the district does not assume responsibility for the conduct or safety of the event.
